In 2010, Ukraine's scrap exports decreased by 24.8 percent year on year to 664,450 mt, valued at about $217.05 million.
In December 2010, Ukraine's ferrous scrap exports saw a 16.3 percent increase month on month but a 0.2 percent drop year on year to 59,930 mt, with 58,860 mt delivered to Turkey and 1,070 mt to Hungary.
The value of Ukraine's scrap export sales in December was up by 23.4 percent compared to November, increasing to $20.67 million.
