Ukraine’s scrap exports more than double in November from October

In November this year, Ukraine's ferrous scrap exports saw a 109 percent increase month on month but a 46.5 percent drop year on year to 51,540 mt, with 48,510 mt delivered to Greece, 2,510 mt to Turkey, while the remaining volume of scrap was shipped to Hungary.

The value of Ukraine's scrap export sales in November was up by 108 percent compared to October, increasing to $16.75 million.

In January-November this year, Ukraine's scrap exports decreased by 26.6 percent year on year to 604,520 mt, valued at about $196.4 million.
