Ukraine issues production results for January

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in January this year Ukraine registered an 11 percent decrease in its finished steel product output to 2.199 million mt, a 0.9 percent increase in its crude steel output to 2.845 million mt and a one percent increase in its pig iron production to 2.497 million mt, all year on year.
 
The country's production of metallurgical coke in the given period went down by seven percent year on year to 1.525 million mt.
 
In the given month, Ukraine produced 5.581 million mt of iron ore concentrate and 1.645 million mt of iron ore pellets - down one percent and 15 percent respectively compared to the same month last year.
