In the January-April period this year, Ukraine imported $548.43 million worth of coal and anthracite, while in April alone the import value totaled $133.75 million.
The total volume of coal and anthracite import shipments to Ukraine in the January-April period amounted to 4.78 million mt, totaling 2.34 million mt in April alone.
In the first four months of this year, Ukraine's coal imports from Russia totaled $234.03 million, while its imports from the US amounted to $131.57 million, coal imports from Australia totaled $46.35 million and coal imports from other countries came to $136.49 million.
Exports of Ukrainian coal totaled 206,377 mt in the January-April period this year, worth $19.29 million, including 136,686 mt worth $10.98 million in April alone.
