UK basic metal output index down slightly in Feb from Jan

According to a report released by the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS), in February this year the UK's seasonally adjusted production index of manufacturing fell by 1.4 percent compared with February 2011 and was down one percent compared to the previous month.

Meanwhile, in the UK the seasonally adjusted production index of basic metal and metal products fell by 0.4 percent in February this year compared with February 2011 and was down 0.5 percent compared to the previous month.
