Turkish metal producers' foreign sales prices down 4.94% in Nov from Oct

According to the figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November this year Turkish producers' foreign sales price index (PPI)* in general decreased by 3.85 percent from October and was up 10.86 percent year on year, while an average rise of seven percent was registered for the latest 12 months.
 
In November this year, the foreign sales prices of producers in the Turkish domestic basic metal industry decreased by 4.94 percent on month-on-month basis and were up 8.52 percent compared to November 2014. Meanwhile, the average increase in prices in the latest 12 months was 14.31 percent.
 
On the other hand, in November of the current year Turkish producers' foreign sales prices for domestic manufactured metal products, except machinery, decreased by 2.38 percent compared to October and were up 15.53 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the average increase in prices in the latest 12 months was 11.78 percent.
 
*Foreign sales price index indicates changes in Turkish producers' prices for other countries.
