Turkey’s wire rod exports decrease by 56.5 percent in January-March

In March this year, Turkey's wire rod exports amounted to 32,654 metric tons, down 35.2 percent compared to February and decreasing by 77.5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $24.1 million, decreasing by 32.9 percent compared to February and down 79.3 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in January-March period of this year, Turkey's wire rod exports amounted to 129,054 metric tons, down 56.5 percent compared to January-March period of the last year, while the revenue generated by these exports totaled $92.2 million, decreasing by 61.6 percent year on year.
