Turkey’s rebar exports decrease by 57.4 percent in January-March

In March this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 209,498 metric tons, down 0.8 percent compared to February and decreasing by 68.9 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $146.04 million, increasing by 2.3 percent compared to February and down 70.3 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in January-March period of this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 728,878 metric tons, down 57.4 percent compared to the January-March period last year, while the revenue generated by these exports totaled $490.8 million, decreasing by 60 percent year on year.
