Turkey’s rebar exports decrease by 49.6 percent in January-February

In February this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 213,201 metric tons, down 31.2 percent compared to January and decreasing by 60.5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $143.95 million, decreasing by 29.1 percent compared to January and down 62.2 percent year on year. 

Meanwhile, in January-February period of this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 522,806 metric tons, down 49.6 percent compared to the January-February period last year, while the revenue generated by these exports totaled $346.98 million, decreasing by 52.8 percent year on year.
