In April this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 339,040 metric tons, down 18.4 percent compared to March and decreasing by 20.1 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $164.22 million, decreasing by 17.6 percent compared to March and down 32.8 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in the first four months of this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 1.65 metric tons, down 15.9 percent year on year, while the revenue generated by these exports totaled $783.14 million, falling by 27.9 percent compared
In the given period, Turkey's largest rebar export destination was Yemen which received 384,965 metric tons, up 29.6 percent year on year. Yemen was followed by Israel with 251,025 metric tons and the UK with 68,576 metric tons.
