Turkey's motor vehicle output up nine percent in November

According to the monthly statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers' Association (OSD), in November this year Turkey's motor vehicle output totaled 100,605 units, increasing by nine percent year on year and down by 8.6 percent over the month of October.
 
In November, Turkey's passenger car output totaled 51,759 units - down 13.9 percent, its commercial vehicle production reached 44,761 units - up 3.2 percent, while tractor production amounted to 4,085 units - down 1.3 percent, all compared to October this year.
 
Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of this year the country's total motor vehicle output amounted to 1,125,525 units, up 11 percent year on year: passenger car output totaled 588,668 units, while commercial vehicle production reached 495,107 units, increasing respectively by eight percent and 14 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2010.
