Turkey’s hot rolled flat steel exports fall in July from June

According to the statistics provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB), in July this year Turkey's total hot rolled flat steel exports amounted to 183,151 metric tons, climbing by 231.46 percent year on year but down 6.13 percent compared to June this year. Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $138.7 million, rising by 262.9 percent compared to July 2010 and decreasing 6.56 percent from June.
 
On the other hand, in the given month, Turkey's cold rolled flat steel exports stood at 14,392 metric tons, increasing by 17.18 percent year on year and up 73 percent compared to June this year, while the total revenue of these exports amounted to $13.39 million, increasing by 35.62 percent as compared to July 2010 and up 60.13 percent compared to the previous month.
