Turkey’s finished steel output and consumption decrease in January

In January this year, finished steel output in Turkey decreased by 26.8 percent year on year to 2.5 million mt from 3.4 million mt in January 2018, according to the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).

Finished steel consumption in Turkey in the same month decreased by 43.3 percent year on year to 1.7 million mt, from 2.9 million mt January 2018.
