Turkey’s finished steel output and consumption decrease in 2018

In 2018, finished steel output in Turkey decreased by 1.1 percent year on year to 35.7 million mt from 39 million mt in 2017, according to the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).

Finished steel consumption in Turkey in the same year decreased by 15 percent year on year to 30.6 million mt, from 36 million mt in 2017.
