Turkey’s export growth continues

Turkey's exports amounted to $6 billion in June, up 11.68 percent year on year, according to data released by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM). Exports totaled $34.6 billion for the first six months of 2005, up 20.3 percent year on year. Exports over the past 12 months rose 26 percent to $70 billion. Industrial sector exports, which accounts for more than 86 percent of the Turkey's exports, rose 10.5 percent to $5.165 billion last month.
