Turkish plantmaker CVS Makine has announced that it has signed an agreement with Jeddah, Saudi Arabia-based Rahji Steel to upgrade its existing dedusting system.
Rahji Steel has decided to upgrade its dedusting system in line with the investment in transformer expansion and higher chemical energy consumption within the scope of the capacity increase in its electric arc furnace (EAF). The upgrading project will be conducted in four stages; EAF primary suction line modification, EAF secondary suction line modification and filtering capacity increase and installation of two new axial cyclones.
