Turkey’s CRC imports increase by 24.3 percent in January-February

In February this year, Turkey's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports amounted to 57,296 metric tons, down 17.2 percent compared to January and increasing by 4.5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue of these imports totaled $43.9 million, decreasing by 15 percent compared to January and down 23.8 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January-February period of this year, Turkey's CRC imports amounted to 126,485 metric tons, up 24.3 percent compared to the January-February period of last year, while the revenue of these imports totaled $95.5 million, decreasing by 11.9 percent year on year.
