Turkey’s automotive exports at full pace

Led by passenger car exports totaling $3.2 billion, Turkey's automotive exports rose 25.5 percent year on year to $9.51 billion in the first nine months of the year. In September alone, automotive exports rose 16 percent year on year to $1.13 billion. For the January-September 2005 period, the Turkish automotive sector exported a total of 167 countries and self-governing territories, as well as 13 free zones.
