TISCO to supply auto grade steel

According to recent market reports, Indian steelmaker Tata Iron & Steel Co. (TISCO) announced that it is going to supply 1'500 mts of auto grade steel to Malaysia's Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Bhd. or Proton by the end of January. TISCO officials expressed that 1'500 mts of shipment will be valued above Rupees 37.5 million (approx. $821.738). This shipment is part of a 60'000 tons annual supply agreement which was signed between TISCO and Proton last year. Proton is Malaysia's largest automobile company which produces 240'000 vehicles per year.
