Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (TISCO) has kept its ex-factory prices unchanged for the 300 series and raised them by RMB 300/mt ($42/mt) for the 400 series.
1) CR stainless coil
The price of the 304, 321 and 316 series remains unchanged. Thus, SUS 304/2B 2.0 mm coil now costs RMB 32,100/mt ($4,515/mt); SUS 321/2B 2.0 mm coil is worth RMB 44,900/mt ($6,315/mt); ASTM 316/2B 2.0 mm coil is priced at RMB 57,400/mt ($8,073/mt). 430 series sees an increase of RMB 300/mt ($42/mt), thus SUS 430/2B 2.0 mm coil is now worth RMB 13,700/mt ($1,927/mt).
2) HR stainless coil
The prices of the 304 and 316 series have not changed compared to the February levels, while the price of the 430 series has gone up by RMB 30/mt ($42/mt). Consequently, the price of SUS 304/No.1 3-12 mm coil is RMB 30,100/mt ($4,233/mt); ASTM 316L/No.1 3-12 mm coils stay at RMB 54,500/mt ($7,665/mt), while SUS 430/No.1 3-6 mm coils cost RMB 12,200/mt ($1,716/mt).
3) Stainless HR plate:
The prices of the 304 and 316 series remain the same. Therefore, SUS 304/No.1 10 mm still remains at RMB 31,800/mt ($4,473/mt), and the price of AISI 316L/mt 10mm is RMB 56,000/mt ($7,876/mt).
The above prices include VAT and take effect as of March 1, 2008.
