TISCO hikes prices for retailer customers

Indian steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Corp (TISCO) has reportedly increased its price by Rupees 500-600 ($11-13.5) per ton for retailer customers effective as of today. The price increase is stated to have been effected to offset the rise in freight rates announced last week. It is also announced that the prices have not been increased for direct customers of the company, which constitute 85% of TISCO's customers.
