Germany-based steelmaker ThyssenKrupp AG has announced that it has developed a new name and logo for its Stainless Global division. Accordingly, Stainless Global will become an independent entity and will be named Inoxum.

ThyssenKrupp stated that Inoxum will bring together its worldwide production, processing and distribution of stainless steel flat products.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, ThyssenKrupp decided to separate its Stainless Global business activities from the ThyssenKrupp group in line with the optimization of the portfolio which is a part of its integrated strategic development program. The strategic development program aims to reduce debt, enable growth, increase income, and create value
