ThyssenKrupp AG to increase its sales in Malaysia

German company ThyssenKrupp AG has recently announced that it plans to increase its turnover in Malaysia from RM (Malaysian Ringgit) 620 million (approx. $163.2 million) to RM 2 billion (approx. $526.5 million) by 2008. The officials of ThyssenKrupp express that they are pleased with the economic recovery and growth in Malaysia and Asia and they believe that Malaysian market will be an important market for steel industry as demand for steel products is showing an upward trend. Accordingly, the company has recently opened a new office called Casa ThyssenKrupp in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
