Turkey's Tezcan A.S, which doubled
production capacity with cold rolling plant that put into service in 2005 and started to produce its own raw material required for
galvanized sheet line, started producing and selling cold rolled sheet in 2006.
The company will establish its second color coating line in 2006 and continue its
investments and expansion.
Tezcan will increase color
coated sheet capacity to 100,000 ton/year in 2006 thanks to second color coating sheet line.
Tezcan, which has 700,000 ton/year of HRP capacity, is one of the three flat rolled producers of
Turkey. Tezcan, which produces
galvanized sheet, cold rolled sheet, color coating sheet, structural profile, is the only private integrated flat rolled producer in service center sectors.
Tezcan entered the sector in 1983 by producing
galvanized sheet with its Galva-1 plant in Manisa,
Turkey Organized Industrial Zone. The company operates in Kocaeli,
Turkey at 160,000 m² open area and 60,000 m² closed area with its new investment Galva-2.
