Tenova to supply a new four-high temper mill for US-based Olympic Steel

The Italy-based equipment producer Tenova has announced the receipt of an order from the US steel service center Olympic Steel to supply a new four-high temper mill at the company's planned new site at US Steel's Gary Works plant in Gary, Indiana.

The new Tenova I2S Mill will be placed in a cut-to-length line which will produce over 150,000 mt per year of high quality tempered sheet.

The new Tenova I2S 444, 1,067 x 2,134 mm four-high temper mill produces high quality sheet steel from 1.0 mm to 10.0 mm thickness and in a width range of 610 mm to 1,900 mm.
