Tata Steel starts exporting iron ore
According to the recent industry news, Tata Steel has exported iron ore for the first time. The loading of the vessel, which was completed on October, 20 at Haldia will have a further loading at Paradip. The vessel at Haldia loaded 22'500 tons and a further 18'000 tons will be loaded at Paradip. Like other Indian steel producers, Tata Steel also expects its exports to increase in 2003-2004 period depending on the increasing iron ore imports in China. The estimated figure is 500'000 tons. TM International Logistics Ltd (TMIL), which is a joint venture between TISCO (The Tata Iron & Steel Corp) and Martrade Holding GmbH of Germany, will take charge of Tata Steel's all iron ore shipments.Tata Steel starts exporting iron ore
