Tangshan Steel’s mill No. 2 produces 25 mm HRB 500 high-strength rebar

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that its mill No. 2 has successfully produced its first batch of 25 mm HRB 500 high-strength rebar, amounting to a total of 850 mt. The rebar in question will be supplied to the export market.
 
In January this year, steel product exports from Tangshan Steel’s mill No. 2 are expected to total 13,000 mt, equivalent to 23 percent of total steel exports from mill No. 2 in the whole of 2012.
