Tangshan Steel Group Huaxi Steel changes name and shareholders

On December 12, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Steel Group Huaxi Iron and Steel Ltd completed its change of name as well as a change in the shareholders of the company, as announced by Chinese steel giant Hebei Iron and Steel Group.
 
Accordingly, the company has been renamed as Hebei Steel Group Huaxi Iron and Steel Ltd. Furthermore, the shareholders of the new company are Luannan, Henan-based Xinggang Iron and Steel, Jiangsu-based Huaxi Group Co. and Hebei-based Hebei Steel Group Holding. Its previous shareholders were Xinggang Iron and Steel, Huaxi Group Co. and Tangshan Steel Group.
 
The company has two 450 cubic meter blast furnaces and two 210 cubic meter blast furnaces, and produces a total of 1.8 million mt of semi-finished products per year.
