Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Tangshan Steel) has announced that it has delivered the first batch (4,000 mt) of an order placed by the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) for high-strength large angles to be used in the building of power transmission towers of 220 kV and above.
On November 22, Chinese steel manufacturer Hebei Iron and Steel Group signed an agreement with the SGCC for the provision of 8,180 mt of high-strength large angles, which would be produced by its subsidiary Tangshan Steel.
