According to major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group, its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd has successfully produced DX51D+Z HDG plate at the No. 2 HDG production line at its cold rolling mill. The product quality, precision and coating thickness were all in line with customer requirements.
The HDG plate products will be exported to the Middle East - the first time Tangshan Iron and Steel will export such products. The particular order in question is for 24,000 mt of HDG plates with thicknesses of 1.8-4.0 mm and widths in a range of 1.0-1.5 m, made according to EN10346 standard.
This year, Tangshan Iron and Steel has exported a large amount of flat rolled products to Europe, South America and the Middle East. In July this year, the company exported a total of 128,251.05 mt of CRC, HRC and galvanized coil. In the first half of the year, the company exported 400,000 mt of cold rolled products, 25 percent of the company's total sales tonnage for the period.
