Talley Metals increases stainless steel prices

Talley Metals, a subsidiary of Carpenter Technology has recently announced that it is increasing the price of all grades of stainless steel round bar, hexagons and squares at the range of 3-5% to be effective for shipments and new orders as of May 3, 2004. It is stated that the decision of increasing prices is taken to offset rising costs.
