Taiwan’s basic metal export value up 3.9 percent in November

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Finance, in November this year Taiwan's export value of basic metals and articles made from basic metals amounted to $2.36 billion, increasing by 3.9 percent compared to the same month of 2010. The valueof these exports was the second highest among Taiwanese export commodities in November this year.

In the first 11 months of this year, Taiwan's export value of basic metals and articles made from basic metals increased 17.8 percent over the same period last year, amounting to $27.8 billion. Meanwhile, in November Taiwan's import value for the products in question decreased by 5.4 percent compared to the same month of last year to $2.07 billion.
