Taigang Stainless Steel’s operating revenue down 15.3 percent in Q1

Shanxi Province-based Chinese stainless steel producer Taigang Stainless Steel Co., a listed subsidiary of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (TISCO), has announced an operating revenue of RMB 17.06 billion ($2.75 billion) for the first quarter of the current year, down 15.27 percent year on year, as well as a net profit of RMB 17.90 million ($2.9 million) for the given period, compared to a net profit of RMB 160 million in the same period last year.
