Sunset review of AD orders against stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan revoked

Monday, 08 November 2010 21:01:22 (GMT+3)   |

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Friday that, as a result of the failure of the domestic industry to participate in the pending sunset review, the antidumping orders against stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan will be revoked.

The DOC noted that no domestic producer responded to its initiation notice in this review.

Because the DOC has made a final determination to revoke the orders, it is not necessary for the ITC to conduct its phase of the sunset review.

The effective date of the revocation of these orders is October 20, 2010.

The product covered by these investigations is currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item number: 7307.23.00
