Stelco’s division granted ISO/TS 16949: 2002 certificate

Hamilton-based steel producer Stelco's Cold Rolled and Coated Products Division has been granted ISO/TS 16949: 2002 Quality Management System certification, which is an internationally accredited standard for automotive materials suppliers. Stelco officials stated that the certificate indicates that the company supplies high quality steel products and services to its customers in automotive sector. The company officials also expressed that the four-point strategy announced in July focus on high quality products for value-added markets, including automotive.
