Steel Warehouse of Arkansas, part of the Lerman Family of Companies, announced it will be expanding the facility on the campus of Big River Steel in Osceola, Arkansas, to include a new Stretcher Leveler line from Red Bud Industries.  This facility already features a new, state of the art slitter that can handle coils up to 78" wide, 5/8" thick and 50 tons in addition to a 72" wide leveler.

Ground-breaking for the plant expansion will take place within the next 30 days, the company said in a statement, with plant construction expected to be complete by early in the 3rd quarter. The new equipment is expected to be operational by the end of 2018.

Steel Warehouse is focused in the metal service center sector, with industrial networks in the US, Mexico and Brazil. The company offers a broad range of processing services to provide production-ready steel sheets, blanks and slit coil for metal stampers, fabricators and manufacturers. Services include leveling, slitting, temper pass/cut-to-length, blanking/shearing, pickling and cold reduction. Steel Warehouse's sister company Lock Joint Tube produces mechanical and structural grade steel tubing.
