Steel Duty Exemptions for EU

As reported by Reuters, Bush administration is expected to announce exemptions for certain specific products that are not produced in the US and thus eliminated compenations requested by the EU. The question is whether the EU will evaluate the steel exemptions it will receive as compensations or not. It has not been clarified yet whether the U.S is planning to offer EU compensations by lowering duties on other European goods.
