Stainless mills in EU in preparation for dumping cases

Market reports from the industry reveal that stainless steel mills in the EU are going to file for anti-dumping cases on cold rolled strip imports. According to Eurofer's (European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries) statement it is claimed that import volume from the exporting countries including Romania and US, tripled in the first six months of 2003 and increasing imports are being dumped. Product to be under the scope of the anti-dumping case is described as; cold rolled strip in thin gauges up to 1.100mm suitable for specialised uses in applications.
