SSEAC: Member enterprises’ special steel finished output almost stable in H1

The Special Steel Enterprises Association of China (SSEAC) has stated that the special steel finished product output of its member enterprises in the first half of the current year totaled 50,674,814 mt, almost stable on year-on-year basis, increasing by just 75,786 mt.

Of this overall volume, non-alloy finished steel output totaled 20,994,204 mt, up one percent year on year, while alloy finished steel products amounted to 11,639,617 mt, down seven percent year on year.

As per product, of the total volume steel bars accounted for 12,144,191 mt, wire rods accounted for 8,674,048 mt, heavy plate accounted for 3,144,538 mt, while 3,509,623 mt consisted of medium plate.
