In March this year, Spain's total motor vehicle output amounted to 251,607 units, increasing by 14.14 percent year on year and by 2.02 percent month on month, according to the data announced by the Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (ANFAC) at the 1st International Conference on Logistics held in Santander, northern Spain. In the first three months of this year, Spain's motor vehicple output totaled 714,353 units, up 15.5 percent year on year.
In March, Spanish passenger car output rose by 24.38 percent year on year and by 3.9 percent month on month to 207,231 units. In the January-March period, passenger car output reached 581,148 units, up 24.7 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, Spain's motor vehicle export volume in March increased by 12.91 percent year on year and by 5.48 percent month on month to 209,361 units, while in the first quarter of the year the export volume rose by 12.32 percent year on year to 582.728 units.
