Spain’s industrial turnover declines sharply in March

The Spanish industrial turnover index in March decreased 6.7 percent year on year, while the calendar adjusted index went down by 2.6 percent year on year. The figures were provided by the Spanish national statistics office (INE).
 
On the other hand, the new orders index in Spain in the month of March decreased by 4.1 percent, while the calendar adjusted index dipped by 0.4 percent, both year on year.

When we consider the first three months of the current year, the Spanish industrial turnover index recorded a 1.6 percent decrease, while the new orders index declined by 1.7 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
