Spain increases crude steel output in Q1

According to the data provided by the Spanish steel producers' association Unesid, Spain's crude steel output in the first quarter of this year amounted to 4.3 million mt, increasing by 1.4 percent year on year, while the quarter-on-quarter increase was recorded at 14.9 percent.
 
On the other hand, Spain's crude steel output in March rose slightly by 0.4 percent as compared to March 2010 to 1.6 million metric tons, up from 1.41 million mt in February this year.
