South Africa-based Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT), one of the world's largest coal handling ports, has announced that it exported 6.27 million mt of coal in July, up 15.12 percent from 5.45 million mt in June and up 44 percent year on year.
Coal exports from the terminal in the first seven months of the year amounted to 38.3 million mt, increasing by 20.3 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Stocks at the terminal stood at 2.84 million mt at the end of July.
