SMS Demag to install hot strip mill to Taiyuan Iron & Steel
German SMS Demag AG has received an order from
China-based steel producer TISCO Taiyuan Iron and Steel Company to install a hot strip mill at the facility of the steel producer.
The planned hot strip mill will produce 4 million tons of coils per annum, 2 million tons of which will be
stainless steel.
The deal, which has been concluded at $100 million, is expected to strengthen the relations between SMS Demag and TISCO.
