Shougang Tonggang’s bar rolling plant produces 375,621 mt in H1

Jilin Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Tonggang Group, a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Shougang Group, has announced that in the first half of the current year it achieved a total output of 375,621 mt at its bar rolling plant, completing 51.45 percent of the production target for 2012.

In June this year, the cost of production at the bar rolling plant declined slightly to RMB 3,535.07/mt ($557.59/mt).
