Jilin Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Tonggang Group has commenced production of checkered steel plate after successfully completing trial production.
The specifications tested include 4.2 mm × 1,250 mm, 4.25 mm × 1,250 mm, and 4.5 mm × 1,250 mm. 38 coils of checkered steel plate totaling 787.68 mt were produced in the tests.
