Chinese steelmaker Shougang Jingtang Steel has announced that it has successfully passed inspections by German certification body TÜV Rheinland of its construction steel plates and steel plates for pressure equipment, thereby greenlighting exports to the European Union of these products.
The products involved in the inspection include 1.2-22 mm hot rolled coils made to EU CPD (Construction Products Directive) standard (including S235, S275, S355, etc.), and 4.75-22 mm hot rolled coil made to EU PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) standard (including S235JR and S275JR).
