Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has successfully developed production of 150 mm × 55 mm, 150 mm × 60 mm and 150 mm × 70 mm flat bars for application in the production of forklift forks.
Previously, flat bars produced by Shijiazhuang Steel for application in manufacture of forks for forklifts were of 50 mm thickness. The steelmaker achieved production of the thicker flat bars through technical upgrades.
