Shanxi Province achieves coal capacity reduction target for 2016

China’s Shanxi Province has announced that it has achieved its coal capacity reduction target for 2016 ahead of schedule, with 23.25 million mt of coal capacity being eliminated. Accordingly, Shanxi ranks first among Chinese provinces in terms of coal capacity eliminated in the current year.
