The Russian steel mill Severstal Cherepovets, a part of Severstal Group, has awarded an order for supplying of two shear presses, used in scrap processing, to French company ACROS. The new share presses will have an annual production capacity of 180,000 metric tons each. The first of the two shear presses will be delivered to the mill in August, with the second one due to arrive in October. The current order is in line with Severstal Cherepovets's strategy to increase its own scrap processing capacity.
